Rutka’s eloquent testimony has been given new life. This is a diary from an approximate four month period from a teenage girl. I found the resources very helpful since this book was so short and would recommend looking at the resources at the back should you want additional books. I had to set it aside and read something else before coming back. She writes, as would any 14 year old girl, anywhere, ever, of books, her friends, crushes and how her intimate feelings are changing, but set against a background of xe, and unimaginable brutality that she witnessed first hand.

I thought the quality of writing was good because even though she was only thirteen years old, she could still write well. Watch list is full.
